Known history.
Well, to be honest there isn't much that we DO know. What we do know is it's a 1960 Land Rover Series II 88" that was either used in a movie, or actually in Africa, (hence the name). You can check out the pictures and see how we figure this. I bought it on Febuary 23rd, 2002 and am begining to fix it up as best as I can. Previous owner list, thanks to Paul and Granville:

The engine has been rebuilt a few years back, and while Paul had it he replaced the transmission/transfer box with a '58. From the way it looks, I would wager that the paint is original, I've looked around inside and have seen seams of the burmabright that don't have paint, and looks like there is only one coat, unless they did a good job of it.
